About
Dr Roy Kumar
I enjoy guiding individuals navigate their health and wellbeing.

With a specialist training in Integrative Medicine, Preventive Health, Men’s Health, Gut and Sleep Health—including the management of snoring and insomnia - I provide comprehensive, complementary evidence-based care .
I completed my medical training at Monash University in 1995 and have undertaken additional training with the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) and completed a post graduate Diploma in Child Health. I have been a GP Medical Educator and actively involved in clinical research.
I am a strong advocate of holistic care, integrating medical science with lifestyle-based strategies—covering dietary advice, supplementation and sleep —to help individuals address chronic conditions and optimise their health.
I am actively involved with implementing sleep and lifestyle medicine into GP. As a member of the GP education committee of the Australian Sleep Association, I am involved with developing training material for use by GPs in Australia. I am also involved in clinical research in sleep and was one of a small number of GPs (Australia-wide) that participated in a clinical training for implementing a new protocol developed by Sleep Specialists at the Australian Institute of Sleep Health (AISH).
Beyond medicine, I enjoy fusion cooking, aged whisky and coastal walks.
